Trey Stross had
a big receiving day in Iowa’s
28-17 comeback win over Northwestern. Although
limited to 20 plays in the game to safeguard his recovering hamstring, Trey caught
three passes for 91 yards, including a 20
yard touchdown and a 53
yarder to set up another Hawkeye score.
In Saturday’s
other games:

Our
other Big Ten wideout, Andrew Means of Indiana,
caught one ball for 35 yards. The Hoosiers
downed Ball State 38-20.

Sophomore
tackle Ian Pace’s Fordham squad pulled out a nail biter over Holy Cross, 24-21,
to remain unbeaten the Patriot League.
They are 8-2 overall, 5-0 in league play.

Georgetown dropped a heartbreaker to Marist by a
37-34 count in three overtimes. Hoya safety
Chris Rau had 9 tackles.
·
Mount Union recorded their fifth consecutive
shutout, blanking John Carroll 53-0. Matt
Kostelnik had to tackles and an interception.

Jon
Schroeder’s Ashland Eagles continued their hot streak, winning in a 63-42
shootout with Wayne
State. The Eagles
are now 7-1 in the GLIAC and have a great shot to make the Division II
playoffs this year.
