the Next Level"

Andrew
Means opened his college football career with a bang on Saturday, snagging a 10 yard TD pass from Blake Powers
on Indiana’s opening drive. Means, who was
redshirted last year, finished with two catches for 26 yards as the Hoosiers
downed Western Michigan 39-20.
Congratulations to Andrew from everyone back here in Shoremen
country! In Saturday’s other action:
·
Means’
old running mate and fellow redshirt freshman Trey Stross caught a pass for six
yards, made a tackle on a kickoff, and partially blocked a punt for Iowa as the
Hawkeyes beat up on Montana by a score of 41-7.

·
Mount
Union strong safety Matt Kostelnik recorder two tackles as the Purple Raiders
annihilated Washington & Jefferson 64-7.
·
Jon
Schroeder carried 11 times for 33 yards as his Ashland Eagles fell to 5th
ranked Saginaw Valley State by a 27-16 count.
On a sadder
note, sophomore tackle Ian Pace of Fordham will miss this season after knee
surgery. OSU’s fifth year senior LB Mike
D’Andrea is also scheduled for a knee operation, on Monday September 11. Prayers & best wishes to both of these
guys!
